About Diamond Weight


Diamonds weights are measured in Carat Weight. The word "carat" comes from the ancient practice in India (where diamonds were first discovered and traded) of measuring diamond weights by comparing them with a variety of bean: the carob seed. Aquamarine: a blue gemstone of the beryl family

Prasiolite or green amethyst: a stone with healing properties
